MUDIX Native 1080P Projector

MUDIX Native 1080P Projector

A few years ago, a native 1080P projector was a luxury item. It surprised me when I first found this Native 1080P projector on Amazon for only $179. As a crazy movie lover and an honest projector user, I thoroughly tested this projector. Let's take a closer look at this amazing little projector.

Display Quality

This projector has a native 1080P resolution, which only supports 4K when connected via HDMI. This means it can't play 4K video itself, requiring another device to decode.

However, the display is really sharp and clear. Thanks to its high-refractive 6-layer glass lens, I didn't see any problems with blurred edges. It also has 4-point keystone correction to make it comfortable in all situations.

It has 12500 Lux LED and real 220 ANSI high brightness, which is OK in bright scenes. But I highly recommend you to watch in a darker environment. For all projects, the display effect will be much better in the dark.

Cinematic experience

With a 150-inch, 4:3/16:9 screen, this projector can give you a cinematic experience. It supports 2.4G and 5G WiFi connection, which ensures that there is no lag while playing.

Many entry-level projectors don't have good sound effects, except this one. Its loud stereo surround dual speakers really produce nice sound effects. A movie is a combination of sight and sound. Good sound effects are essential.

This device has plenty of ports (HDMI, USB*2 and one AUX). For professional users, many graphic settings can be edited. You can freely adjust contrast, saturation, brightness, etc. to get a personalized viewing experience.

Ease of use

With all the above features, this projector measures only 7.08 x 7.29 x 7.12 inches and weighs less than 6 pounds. You don't need to download any software to connect your phone, just connect the projector to WiFi to easily mirror your phone, tablet and laptop.

You can easily set up the projector when you move it to a new location using the autofocus feature. When the setup is done, you don't need to move again, just use the remote control to do everything. It has 100%-50% distortion-free zoom. So you don't have to move it if you want to change the size of the screen.

I have to mention an excellent design - a thumb hole in the bottom of which a small tripod can be installed. Not all the time you have a good flat platform to put the projector on. When it is not flat, you can use this little tripod to adjust it. This little thumb hole brings it adaptability and expandability.

Using an Android operating system, this projector has a WPS office suit, making it convenient for office presentation. You can edit your pages directly on this projector.

Shortcomings

1: Can not play 4K HDR video or Dolby Atmos video without HDMI connection.

2: Aggressive fan (32db), background noise, kind of ruins quiet movies.

3: Not very bright, you need a dark environment to get the best experience.

Conclusion

The MUDIX Native 1080P Projector may be the best entry-level projector. It does the best for its price and provides a truly excellent cinematic experience. If you want a cinematic big screen in your home, this projector may be a good choice.
