How to choose the right portable ACs for your needs

Portable air conditioner provides new opportunities and solutions in some situations. Such as in a place where traditional AC can't fit, or you want your AC to be movable and portable. However, you should know that there are four types of portable ACs.

1. Single-hoseMonobloc portable air conditioners

The simplest and fastest type. The whole unit is inside the room, and it is the most portable and easy to use. However, it has problems with low efficiency and noise.

2. Dual-hose monobloc air conditioners

The difference between this and the first one is that it has two hoses: one for collecting outside air and the other for releasing warm air. It is more efficient and uses less energy, but it is more expensive.

3. Split air conditioners

Portable split air conditioners consist of two separate units. One is placed outside and the other is placed inside. It's difficult to install and inconvenient to move. However, it has high efficiency and low noise. However, the connection pipe is easy to damage.

4.  Window Air Conditioner

A window air conditioner is installed through the window, and half of it is placed outside. These units are more efficient than monobloc portable air conditioners, but more difficult to install. Your window must be large enough for installation.

Based on the above, If you need to move your AC frequently, you should choose a monobloc portable air conditioner.

As an experienced machinist working in this field for more than 20 years, I highly recommend the Rintuf 12000 BTU Portable AC and here's why:

Excellent cooling functions

With 12000 BTU cooling capacity, it can cool down the room quickly. The advertisement only gives the ASHRAE standard of BTU, which doesn't count the heat loss. However, the cooling capacity is sufficient for most scenes.

Low noise

In sleep mode, this unit is only 43.7 db, as quiet as a library. You can use normal mode to cool down quickly and then switch to sleep mode to stay quiet.

Environmentally friendly

By using R32 eco gas refrigerant, it minimizes its impact on the environment. Even though single tube monoblock portable ACs have the lowest efficiency, this product saves 30% more energy than average.

Easy Mobility

With 4*360° wheels and 2 handles, it's really convenient to move from room to room. Besides, we can easily install and remove it without any tools.

Multiple functions

This portable AC can also serve as a dehumidifier or fan. It is a commonly seen feature, but really useful. It has a 24-hour timer. I don't see this on other products and it's really convenient.

I have to mention two nice details. One is that it has a plug organizer in the back to keep your room neat and tidy. The other is that it has a remote control, which is only available on high-end similar products.

Shortcomings

1:Because of its single house design, it uses more power.

2:The instructions are terrible! Suggest you watch the video on Youtube.

3:Not suitable for all windows, please remember to confirm the window size before purchase.

Conclusion

It's most important to choose the right type if you want to buy a portable AC. And if you want a monobloc air conditioner, the Rintuf 12000 BTU portable air conditioner is really a good choice, which has the best value for money.
